Pet Forms
Pets come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own unique traits! When you first make an account, you can choose one Form for your first pet to take—don't worry about it too hard, you'll have the chance to take in new pets later on and you can even change your pets' Form using certain higher-level consumables or spells.
- Wuzzles are a great choice of Form for new players making a first pet. These cute lil chimeras look to be a mix of dog, cat, fox, and ferret, with relatively small (On average 0.3m to 1m long, and up to 1.5x that in height) bodies and fluffy ears, tails, and paws. Some common variations for Wuzzles include spotting and striping of the fur, which are visible in all Colors. They prefer to eat once a day, though they'll maintain a Content Mood as long as they eat something every other day. Wuzzles prefer to eat meals with meat in them, but often have a soft spot for sweets and baked goods too. Unlike other pets, Wuzzles need to be groomed regularly (at least weekly) or their Mood will drop by one rating. Many of the friendly NPC characters of Everywhere are Wuzzles.
- Vhers are a powerful, physically imposing pet Form that's popular among long-time enfranchised players. They appear to be some sort of mix between a gorilla, boar, and armadillo, and range in size from 1.5m to 3m tall. Their natural variations include the presence or absense of tusks, spines, and club-like tails, which are oftentimes a focal point of customization by their owners. Vhers are demanding pets—they require a massive quantity of food (including a week's gathering worth each of meat and plants) once a month to remain at a Content Mood, and they also require exercise daily in the form of Combat or Gathering (anecdotally it's been rumored they get a greater Mood boost from Hunting, but that's unconfirmed) or they'll drop to Chagrinned if they were at a Content Mood or above. To make up for their hefty requirements, though, Vhers have a boost to all of their physical Characteristics which make them a must-have for many Combat builds.
- Naea are flighty, gangly chimeras that seem to be part rabbit, deer, sheep, and hummingbird. Their size range is the widest of any Form, from 0.1m at the smallest to 2.5m tall at the largest. They prefer to graze and eat 2-3 food items per day, and won't eat anything containing meat. They also seem to prefer to avoid milk, eggs, or cheese, as these food items containing these ingredients are reported to give a smaller Mood buff than expected, but the difference appears minor. Naea's wings are nonfunctional but have a great diversity of designs that can appear on them, and they also have 4 different fur textures they can keep: woolworn, featherfine, silkensmooth, and growinggrass. Contented Naea can be "shorn" weekly for crafting material corresponding to their fur texture.
- Eegees are a curious creature, a mix of snail, snake, jellyfish, and bird with some extra eyeballs tossed in for good measure. Unlike Naea they're capable of flight, a unique ability that allows them to gain the upper hand easily in Combat against any opponent with limited ranged options. Eegees eat weekly, and highly prefer processed foods like candies which involve multiple steps of crafting base material together. They vary in length from 1m to 1.5m, though the "core" body appears to be only a small fraction of their size while the majority of their length is tendril. The number of tendrils and the location & style of their eyes vary wildly, with as few as 1 eye and tendril all the way up to 18 of each.
- Sh'thrk (affectionately nicknamed "pointybois" by their fans) are oftentimes considered the "black sheep" of the petforms, and are said to be villainous or cruel. This chimera seems to be a mix of crocodile, maned hyena, and centipede, with each leg adorned in sharp blades. They can be as long as 5m in length, though they're usually between 2m and 3m long and they never reach beyond .5m in height. These chimera have an irregular feeding schedule, requiring food at a random time every 2-12 days. If not fed within 12 hours of their preferred feeding time, their mood will drop to Chagrinned if it was Content or higher, and for every subsequent 12 hours without feeding their Mood will drop another level. Sh'thrk blades are not only useful in Combat and Hunting, but are also the Form's main customization trait—they vary in material such as bone, chitin, horn, or even rarely natural growths that mimic obsidian or porcelain, and can be serrated, curved like scythes, or split-pronged.
