Everywhere is a magical land of adventure, camaraderie, and joy. It's separated into distinct biomes which players can wander freely, and is inhabited by a variety of species of Pets and Monsters. Not all Pets are friendly (though most are!) and not all Monsters are dangerous (though they certainly can be!) so it's a good idea to expect the unexpected. Everywhere is a timeless space, where past and future blend in strange ways; there's no ruins or ancient civilizations, as everything in Everywhere has just... been there... and always will be. There's Paperscraps which act as lore fragments which have been Unmoored in time, but trying to piece them together is really, really tough. All we know for sure through Chimeric's first few plot events is that Everywhere acts as a staging ground for conceptual entities like the Absolutes and Players to interface with eachother and the "semistable" realm and inhabitants of Everywhere. The "semistable" nature of Everywhere and its inhabitants is why Pets can change Form and Color with relative ease, Monsters can respawn, and biomes shift around on the map or contain random events. we know the Absolutes are bad for Everywhere because the presence of their Avatars over-stabilizes the realm, focusing it entirely towards one singular concept, but we're still not quite sure the role Players... play, in all of this. For now all we can do is make the most of our time with Everywhere, supporting Pets, uncovering mysteries about the realm, and holding off the Avatars of the Absolutes when they arise.
The Biomes of everywhere are the Forest, Mountain, Clouds, the Beach at the Edge of Everywhere, Ocean, the Battleground, and Caves. Each has a single screen you go to to initially access the rest of the Biome, and then a mess of variants and shifting paths you can take to explore within. You can uncover new Biome variants and paths while Wandering with your pets, which lets you shortcut back to them later, but only if certain conditions are met; for instance, you can find The Ravine variant of Caves if a random event causes a collapse while you're Adventuring in the Forest or Mountain, or you can find the Crystal Caverns if you explore the Caves with a Crystal pet or item. Wandering can help you find shortcuts but skips over the fun part of exploring, which is clicking around the hand-drawn & randomized maps of different areas and uncovering new things around every corner. There's hundreds of distinct NPCs you can find on their own journeys, tons of little goodies available to harvest if you're resourceful, unique combat encounters that can pop up out of nowhere, and puzzles or puzzlescraps for the lore-heads!
